The Bunten Münchner Kindl is a project of the nonprofit foundation “Wir helfen München.” Since 2016, the initiative has been providing children and young people up to age 18 who live and attend school in Munich with the school supplies they need, free of charge. These include, among other things, backpacks, notebooks, pens, pencil cases, art supplies, and workbooks. The project is entirely funded by donations; the supplies are packed and distributed with the help of volunteers.
On May 19, 2022, the Holiday Inn Munich – City Centre made a monetary donation to the Bunten Münchner Kindl. This support is publicly documented on the organization’s website. We will publish further activities and results from our hotel as soon as the information has been internally verified and confirmed by our partner.

For many years, we have maintained a close partnership with the Kulturkreis Gasteig. By providing free accommodations, we support young musicians who come to Munich to participate in auditions and master classes.

The Kulturkreis Gasteig promotes outstanding emerging talents in classical music and provides them with opportunities for public performances and interaction with renowned artists. In addition, the organization is committed to organizing high-caliber concerts and festivals.
